Meet scar face, an iconic Lion that traversed Mara from his birth in 2007 to his death in 2021. He is the only Lion known to have killed an adult hippopotamus in a solo fight. In his lifetime he killed 400 hyenas and over 100 lions by himself. Today half of the lions in Mara are purely from his loins.
There are and has been many great lions throughout history, but none comes closer to this iconic legend known as scar face.
