2. How to Cancel Your Booking
To cancel your safari booking, please:
- Contact us immediately via email at info@boostsafaris.africa
- Provide your booking reference number
- Include your full name and departure date
- Specify the reason for cancellation
Note: Cancellations must be received in writing (email) and confirmed by our team.
3. Refund Processing
- Refunds will be processed within 14-21 business days after cancellation confirmation
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for booking
- Bank transfer fees and currency conversion charges are non-refundable
- Credit card processing fees may apply depending on your bank
4. Force Majeure and Exceptional Circumstances
In cases of force majeure events including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Government travel restrictions
- Political unrest or security concerns
- Health emergencies or pandemics
- Airline strikes or cancellations beyond our control
We will work with you to:
- Reschedule your safari to a later date
- Provide a credit voucher valid for 12 months
- Process a full refund if rescheduling is not possible
5. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers:
- Trip cancellation and interruption
- Medical emergencies
- Emergency evacuation
- Lost or delayed baggage
Note: BoostSafaris is not responsible for costs covered by travel insurance.
6. Partial Cancellations
If you need to reduce the number of participants:
- Reductions of 1-2 people: Subject to standard cancellation fees
- Significant group reductions: May result in price adjustments for remaining participants
- Single traveler supplements may apply
7. Booking Modifications
Changes to existing bookings:
- Date changes: Subject to availability and may incur additional costs
- Itinerary changes: Dependent on supplier availability
- Accommodation upgrades: Additional payment required
- All modifications must be requested in writing
8. No-Show Policy
Failure to arrive for your scheduled departure without prior notice will result in:
- 100% forfeit of all payments
- No refund or credit available
- No rescheduling options
9. Special Considerations
Peak Season: Bookings during peak seasons (July-September, December-January) may have stricter cancellation terms.
Group Bookings: Groups of 8+ people may have customized cancellation terms outlined in their specific contract.
Third-Party Services: Flights, visas, and other third-party services may have separate cancellation policies.
